Virginia Tech outlines its testing, tracing, and case management plan for the fall semester

The plan includes guidelines for initial and ongoing screening and testing of students and employees, cooperation with local health department contact-tracing investigations, and effective case management within the university population should an employee or student become infected.

Changes coming to campus dining in fall 2020

Students who do have on-campus dining plans will find significant changes, beginning with reduced capacity, as tables will be spaced 9 feet apart to provide for 6 feet of physical distancing between people seated at different tables.

COVID-19 research projects propelled by Rapid Response Seed Fund

To support COVID-related research and provide immediate support for Virginia Tech researchers, the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation collaborated with Virginia Tech institutes and colleges to establish a COVID-19 Rapid Response Seed Fund. As a result, nine projects were selected for funding.
