Veterinary college deploys decontamination system to allow reuse of N95 masks

Housed in the Center for One Health Research on the Virginia Tech campus, the decontamination system is helping to stretch supplies for the region's health systems, such as Carilion Clinic, the Roanoke-based nonprofit that comprises hundreds of clinics, hospitals, and specialist offices throughout Southwest Virginia.

Virginia Tech outlines its testing, tracing, and case management plan for the fall semester

The plan includes guidelines for initial and ongoing screening and testing of students and employees, cooperation with local health department contact-tracing investigations, and effective case management within the university population should an employee or student become infected.

Changes coming to campus dining in fall 2020

Students who do have on-campus dining plans will find significant changes, beginning with reduced capacity, as tables will be spaced 9 feet apart to provide for 6 feet of physical distancing between people seated at different tables.
